Finally a reputable shop . We have always had to do our own mechanics due to poor experiences ...It is refreshing to finally have a shop we can trust with our vehicles. The staff is friendly ...prices are very good and everyone is very knowledgeable and professional. Great shop! Thanks so much ! We will definitely be back.

I took my car in for level 1 testing because it was having issues starting. I also mentioned that my door locking mechanism was messed up and wasn’t locking correctly and that my brake pads most likely needed replacing (I was told this the last time I took my car in at a different shop. They should be overdue). They said they could take care of it for me. I received the document of repairs and ultimately decided to do the work myself and declined all the services. Nowhere listed was a brake pad check (only brake fluid) so I don’t know if they checked them at all or if by some miracle they rejuvenated themselves. The lock mechanism issue was also not listed on the document and was not fixed when my car was returned to me… Only 1 issue (out of 3) that I specifically brought up to them was addressed and they had my car for almost a week. Everyone was very nice and I received a student discount but it was still frustrating to pay for a service that felt incomplete.

This is the second time I have used Sun Automotive. Their prices are fair and the work was done right. I cannot express how WONDERFUL this place is. I am a skeptic, do not easily trust and am hard to impress. I grew up old school and unfortunately I do not see the same values in today's society. I have renewed hope because of Sun Automotive. I was treated with respect, the lobby was clean, Josh was genuine and HONEST. I could have been charged thousands of dollars for a new engine. Thanks to Josh, his effort, extra caring, research and advice; I am getting the engine replaced without any cost to me. Sun automotive did not benefit from this as I had to take it to the dealership. I highly recommend you take your business to them. You will not regret it and you will find out for yourself that there still are people and places that do the right thing.

This specific location was recommended to me, as I’m relatively new to the area. I took a used ‘24 Subaru Outback in for a prepurchase inspection, and all the staff I spoke with throughout the process were very pleasant and efficent. No one tried to upsell repairs/maintenance practices, and a reason was provided for every suggestion (I double checked all the reasons on my own, and they were all in line with best practices). Cord, specifically, was great to work with - very friendly, communicative, and efficient. The experience I had at Sun Automotive in Springfield was fantastic enough that I will continue going out of my way just for the high-quality service.

Everyone at the shop is so nice and courteous. Techs are knowledgeable and you can trust that none of them are trying to run up your bill. The courtesy driver is really sweet and really went out of her way to get me home quicker. My car is running so much smoother. They actually caught and fixed a mistake that a drive up oil change did to my car. I will be sending my family here from now on.

Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by Cord. He was so welcoming and friendly. They already had my information and scheduled appointment and went right to work. I was driven home by Donna who was also very nice and friendly. I had to get a new tail light assembly which came in a day later. I will totally be back for my next scheduled appointment!! Thanks Sun Automotive in Springfield Oregon!!! Love the waiting area and great antiques.

Brian and the entire staff did a great job in diagnosing the issue that I had with my Toyota Highlander. They provided me with a ride home and back to pick up my car when the work was completed and I live out in Fall Creek.
I will definitely come back to them if there are any auto repairs needed. Again, I cannot thank them enough.

Josh and all the staff just are so great! They are patient, kind and eager to help! Super professional, and treat you with great respect! They treat you like family! Keep you involved in the work they're are doing; explain everything so you know and understand the possible issues and really work hard for you to get your vehicle back on the road!

Sun Automotive is exactly what you wish all auto repair shops would be. I love the “health report” they send you with the inspection. They are also very honest and clear with work that may need to be done and the time period in which it needs to be done. Everyone there is super friendly. Never thought I would actually not mind having to deal with car repairs.

They were able to get my car in the day I called that alone is unheard of around here and I certainly appreciate that. Honest prices and they warranty their work. They Were able to give a very detailed itemized receipt of every step taken and recommendations for the future. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. There business seems to get better every visit.

Broke down out of town so I was stuck for quite a while waiting on my ride, the employees at Sun automotive were so nice. Not one time did they make me feel like a bother. Jon was amazing and super helpful. They took my car in unexpectedly and got it repaired. Even once I was home, they called to follow up and make sure everything went well. 10/10 recommend!!
