Quality components make a quality Job: At Sun Automotive, the parts we select for your brake service and repair meet or exceed your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
Our technicians: All of the technicians at Sun Automotive our ASE Certified. This gives you confidence that a well-trained professional is the person servicing one of the most critical systems on your vehicle.
The Most Common Brake Job: Most brake jobs include replacing the brake pads, machining the brake rotors to obtain a smooth surface so that the new brake pads will wear evenly and have no pulsation from uneven rotors. We recommend all the brake fluid be flushed from the system as well. Most brake lines are made of copper and copper particles tends to sluff off and permeates the brake fluid. Brake fluid tends to attract moisture as well.
Brake Job Prices: Prices can vary greatly depending upon the type of brake pads that come on the vehicle from the factory as well as the difficulty of the job from one make or model to the next. Beware of advertised prices that seem to good to be true as they almost always are. Many corners can be cut to “cheapen” a brake job, from substituting poor quality brake pads, not servicing the rotors to the hiring of inexperienced people who perform the job. Brake jobs are never an area to compromise quality.
